Attachment

The state of being conditioned to an emotional preference also associated with a legal and/or personal bond. Defies logic and reason. Considered the source of lust feeding a loss of intelligence, anger, madness and disease. Attachment is usually considered a weakness of the ego leading to neurosis or ineffective behavior, whereas the same associated with the soul is considered manageable love forgiven and graced as a form of service to God.
